In the United States approximately 166,000 kids miss school every day to avoid bullying and harassment.  That's nearly equivelant to all the students in Oregon and Washington missing school everyday to avoid being bullied or harassed!

About 80% of the time students are present during bullying.  Only 11% of the time do students help out, but when they do help out, 60% of the time they are successful at stopping the situation.
