Mediation Services
Mediation services are provided for disputes arising throughout the
community – between neighbors, landlords and tenants, between merchants and customers, and between friends. We also have a special program for Manufactured Dwelling Park residents. Under contract with the Oregon Housing and Community Services we provide free mediations for disputes within mobile home parks.
Mediation Works provides mediation services
for couples, families (including blended and extended families), siblings, parents, and children. Mediation helps parties identify choices and options. Family mediation allows modeling of conflict resolution and problem solving skills and reduces the chance of violence and runaways in family situations.
Mediation services are provided for senior citizens and adult children in dispute and for seniors and caretakers in conflict.
Court Mediation Services
Mediation Works contracts with the courts to provide two mediation services – small claims and FED. Whenever a small claims case is filed and the defendant responds to the summons, the case is scheduled for mediation. Also, when a landlord applies to the courts for eviction of a tenant, the landlord and tenant have an opportunity to settle their differences through mediation.

Mediation Works participates in a special program under contract with the Oregon Housing and Community Services to provide free mediations for disputes within mobile home parks.
Latino Outreach Services
Programa diseñado para proveer y extender todos los servicios de mediación a la comunidad Hispana/Latina.
Twice a year, our senior staff provide a five-day basic mediation program and, through out the year, continuing education programs which meet the requirements for mediator qualifications as set by the Oregon Judicial Department.
